Keep Driving immerses you in the atmosphere of freedom of a long, slow drive through a procedurally generated world. Set in the early 2000s, you find yourself driving your first car, with a long road ahead and a festival to reach on the other side of the country. Driving on highways and dirt roads, you encounter difficulties, both from the environment and from quirky hitchhikers looking for a ride. These passengers aren't just a backdrop: they each bring their own story, adding new layers to the journey as you continue your journey.

The game focuses on a unique combination of exploration and resource management. You can customize your car, fix it when it breaks down, and use the items you pick up along the way to solve problems. A turn-based combat system helps you overcome obstacles, such as getting stuck behind a slow-moving tractor or dealing with trouble on the road. Interestingly, neither of the two rides is the same, as the world is procedurally generated, and each ride feels new.

With multiple endings, Keep Driving invites you to replay and try different routes to see how the trip changes.
