The Headliners

The Headliners is a horror co-op in which users find themselves in the shoes of journalists in a city under siege. Set in a New York City overrun with mysterious creatures, it offers a unique twist on survival gameplay. You and your team of four users are tasked with exploring dangerous abandoned streets in search of stories that can make the front pages of newspapers. But there's a catch: you need to stay alive long enough to take photos, or you could become history yourself.

As you wander around the abandoned city, the tension builds. Every turn, every building you enter, may contain something worth documenting, or something deadly waiting to be hit. Armed only with cameras, gamers are faced with the need to take the best shots of alien invaders or destruction, making their way through hordes of creatures. Strategy? Risk. A photo of a teammate falling into the clutches of a critter can be your ticket to the headlines, but it comes at a price.

Survival is not guaranteed in Headliners. Each team member starts with three press cards, which are consumed with each expedition. Your photos determine whether you earn more or if your trip ends prematurely. After each chaotic outing, you'll review your shots to see if they're worthy of the headline and hope they're good enough to keep you in the game. The question is, will you be able to get into the news or just be a part of it?
